The Department of Radiology in this Institution is a highly specialized, full-service department which strives to meet all patient and clinician needs in diagnostic imaging

With a in house array of imaging modalities viz: CT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography and including the humble X-Ray, we can confidently meet any sort of requirements from the treating physicians.

Our high resolution Ultra sound machine is equipped with a wide array of probes. They include

1. Abdominal Convex probe

2. Sector Probe

3. High Frequency Linear Probes for Small parts and Vessels

4. Dedicated trans-rectal Multi frequency probe

5. Dedicated trans-vaginal Multi frequency probe

We have a state of the art Dual track mammography unit and 3 units for conventional x- ray imaging services.

With more than 5000 whole body CT scans  and 4000 ultra sound imaging procedures performed per year our faculty is highly experienced in providing accurate imaging services to our patients.

Training :

 Postgraduates in Radiology from various medical colleges in the state rotate through our department for their training in CT Scan.

Whole Body CT Scan training is being imparted to faculty members of Radiology from Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad, Govt. General Hospital, Kurnool and Gandhi Hospital, Ananthapur
